LOCAL ACTIVITIES
Here on site we have 2 bird feeding areas where you can watch the regular visitors dining, sparrows, chaffinches, blue and great tits, collared doves and woodpeckers. We also have red kites and buzzards soaring overhead and other visitors include owls, sparrowhawks and peregrine falcons. The fields are also home to rabbits and you will no doubt spot the occasional fox wandering around. Children can have a go at den building, playing football or cricket on the field or play in the sandpit.
We have a 1km nature trail where you can have a go at spotting the smaller wildlife, it takes you past the sheep fields and along the stream. Nature hunts and treasure hunts are organised around the trail.
If you fancy trying your hand at willow weaving, taster sessions can be arranged for you.
We also have a small observatory equipped with an 8" reflector for budding astronomers.
CASTLES
There are plenty of castles within easy reach, Pembroke castle, Kidwelly castle, Cilgerran castle, Cardigan castle. There is also Castell Henllys iron age village.

BEACHES
A short drive will get you to some fantastic beaches and seaside towns in the area, Poppit Sands, Newquay, Mwnt, Tenby, Laugharne, Llansteffan to name but a few.
CRAFTY ACTIVITIES

ATTRACTIONS
National Wool Museum is only a short drive away, Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, Cenarth, where you have the chance to spot salmon making their way upstream, Welsh Wildlife Centre over at Cardigan, WWT Llanelli Wetland Centre and Pembrey Country Park
